Hotel
We are looking forward to welcome you as our guest at Uddeholms Hotel, directly situated on the banks of Lake Råda; the beauty of the hotel is only fully revealed when you approach it from the highway.
In the main building you’ll find the reception, the restaurant and the cosy lounge with bar and open fire, here you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, play a game with the kids, or read the newspaper while enjoying a glass of beer or wine. Most conference rooms are located in this building. From the dining room you have access to the spacious veranda and garden, situated directly to the lake. During summertime, on the long sultry evenings you can enjoy your drink or meal outside on the terrace. On the first floor you’ll find a spacious and beautiful conference room with a fireplace and a piano. From this room you have access to the balcony with a magnificent view over the lake and the tennis courts. On this floor there also are two smaller conference rooms, our extensive multilingual library and an Internet café situated.
Rooms
In total, the hotel has 53 spacious rooms and more than 100 beds, divided over three annexes. Each room has a private bathroom with shower and toilet. Most rooms are equipped with TV, alarm clock, kettle with coffee and tea service. We offer a wide variety of rooms: single, double / twin and triple rooms, family rooms for up to 6 people and luxury suites overlooking the lake. On request cots available. There are also a number of rooms available for guests who want to bring their pet. All rooms are non smoking.
Sauna
After a busy day you can relax in one of our saunas. The hotel has three sauna’s, two indoor sauna’s and a wood-heated sauna outside directly by the lake. Imagine, from the sauna directly into the lake for a refreshing dip. In winter you can enjoy a cool snow fight. The outdoor sauna is suitable for groups up to 12 people.
Rent for hotel guests is SEK 50: - per person (min. SEK 225 :-) for a half day. The indoor sauna’s cost SEK 30: - per person (min. SEK 75 :-). At the reception you can get information about the use of the sauna’s.
Recreation
Uddeholms Hotel offers you besides the hotel and restaurant facilities also a number of recreational options. For the active guests there is a large entertainment area located in the basement of the southern building where you can play table tennis, darts or pool. Here you can also find a wide range of fitness equipment.
Outside are two tennis courts (as a hotel guest free to use). The crystal clear water of lake Råda is perfectly suited for a swim. Next to the scaffolding and the outdoor sauna are beaches where you can take a sunbath. The terrain also offers a children's playground with swings and a climbing lane and a 9-hole (childrens) golf course. Sticks and balls are available at the reception. At 200 m distance is the public beach of Uddeholm.
Cycles (including childrens), bicycle carts, canoes, nordic walking sticks, inline skates, surfboards and cross-country skis are available for rent.
