Route
Uddeholms Hotell is situated on the borders of Lake Råda in Uddeholm, Hagfors Kommun, in the middle of Värmlands beautiful Klarälv valley, ca 90 km north of Karlstad.

By air
Flying is a good option to travel to Uddeholm: you can take a flight to Stockholm Arlanda and from there the domestic flight to Hagfors airport which is 3 kilometers from the hotel or take the train from Arlanda to Karlstad and then travel further with the bus to Uddeholm.
Another option is to take a Ryanair flight to Stockholm Skavsta (near Nykoping) or Göteborg City Airport and then travel further by train or rental car.
Car/motorcycle
A relaxed way of travelling is by car to Kiel, take the Stena Line night ferry to Göteborg and then travel further by car. An alternative is the Travemunde-Trelleborg ferry.
Another option is to travel as the crow flies straight to Sweden. You can do this by taking the ferry from Puttgarden-Rodby and from Helsingor-Helsingborg. An alternative for the second ferry is to travel along the spectacular Öresund bridge, the connection between Kopenhagen and Malmö.
Kiel - Göteborg
Distance Göteborg – Uddeholm: 350 km.
The Stena Line sails every night, departure from Kiel and from Göteborg at 19.30 hour, arrival 9.00 hour next day.
Travemunde - Trelleborg
Distance Trelleborg – Uddeholm: 640 km.
The TT-line sails 4x a day in both directions.
Puttgarden - Rødby
You travel by car via Hamburg to Puttgarden, take the ferry to Rødby, through Denmark to the ferry Helsingør-Helsingborg or the tolls bridge (Kopenhagen-Malmö) and from South Sweden to Uddeholm.
Distance Rødby - Uddeholm: 800 km.

Route Malmö – Helsingborg - Göteborg - Uddeholm
E6 to Uddevalla*, road 44 to Trollshättan / Vänersborg; road 45 to Karlstad. Just before Karlstad road 62 (toward Hagfors) 3 kms after Råda go to the right to Uddeholm / Hagfors, road 246) and continue about 3 kms to Uddeholm. In Uddeholm first road to the right (Hotellvägen), the hotel is situated about 200 mtrs from the main road.
* A nicer alternative for road 45: after Uddevalla road 172 towards Bengtfors, just before Bengtfors road 164 to Åmål. In Åmäl road 45 towards Karlstad.
