Hostel Uddeholm

From the 1st of June, 2009 Uddeholms hotel offers you accommodation in a youth hostel. The whole complex is beautifully situated on the banks ofLake Råda, and offers magnificent views over the lake, exactly in the middle of Värmlands cultural cradle.

The hostel offers you the following accommodation: single, double and triple rooms, family rooms (max. 6 persons), a living room with kitchen and TV, self-household, washing machine and dryer facilities (detergent available at the reception). All rooms have a private bathroom, most rooms have a kitchenette, two dog friendly rooms. Of course you can rent, if desired, linens and towels at the reception. The restaurant also offers the possibility for breakfast, lunch (package) and dinner, we have a full alcohol license. Of course you are always welcome both in the restaurant or on the terrace to enjoy a cup of coffee or tea, or a refreshing beer or wine. In the reception you can also buy SIA icecream. 
The reception is open all year from 8.00 to 12.00 and from 16.30 to 19.30. We speak Swedish, English, German and Dutch.

The hotel offers the following extra’s: wood-heated sauna (extra cost) near the lake, beautiful garden directly on the banks of the lake with private beaches, BBQ place, tennis courts, bike rental, canoe rental, skelter rental, tourist info, engine heating, tennis courts, free wireless internet, children's playground, including a 9 hole golf course in the park.

See and experience: Both on the hostels own grounds and in the surroundings is a lot to experience and to see: a 90 km car free cycle path 'Klarälvbanan' to Karlstad, fishing, 18-hole golf course, Stjärnsfors museum, a trolley tour to Hagfors including museum visit, walking and cycling (www.activerouteshagfors.com), horseback riding, public beaches.
